Our Amela Boho Bag combines traditional craftsmanship with modern style. Each bag is unique and crafted from hand-embroidered wool rugs in Dainty Dystopia's design and lovingly crafted in Essaouira, Morocco, in collaboration with our tailor Mohammed.

ABOUT

Our love for Morocco, especially Essaouira and its talented artisans, inspired us to create a special project. We'd had the idea for the Amela Boho Bag in our minds for a long time, and on our recent trip to Essaouira, we brought it to life with our tailor, Mohammed. The process began with selecting the materials: We sourced beautiful, hand-embroidered kilims, which form the basis for each bag.
With sketches, a lot of creativity, and sometimes even hands and feet, we developed the first prototypes together with Mohammed. While we had to travel back, Mohammed implemented our designs and sent us the unique models. And now they're here, and you can now find a piece of Moroccan craftsmanship and an exciting accessory in our shop.
