Our Night Shades series kimono is an exceptional piece with multiple botanical dyeing steps. First, we dye the kimono with avocados in our Botanical Dye Studio, then immerse it in a logwood bath and then in indigo. This creates the beautiful color gradient from purple to pink to blue. We then bundle-dye each piece with additional botanical components, creating a truly unique print that is never the same.

We've opted for a sustainable shopping principle: "Made to Order." We only dye your custom kimono after you order it. Of course, we can't achieve this overnight, but together we're counteracting fast fashion and overproduction – for a sustainable future. Each kimono is a truly unique piece, making its way to you.

Our kimono is made from sustainable materials. It's made from muslin, a four-layer cotton fabric that's soft to the touch and flatters your skin. The fabric is handwoven by a small family business in Turkey and then sewn into the kimono. All components and raw materials used are naturally sourced and harmless to humans, animals, and plants throughout the entire process.

Good to know: This kimono is dyed with natural dyes and is a unique piece. Botanically dyed products are vibrant colors, meaning they may exhibit variations in shade and minor irregularities. The colors will change over time and may fade slightly, but will always remain beautiful and unique.

How to care for it properly: Hand wash with pH-neutral detergent or use your washing machine's handwash program (cold wash or max. 30 degrees).
