ABOUT
The Mexican word for caftan is huipil, and it originates from indigenous regions in Mexico and Latin America. According to ancient traditions, caftans are handwoven on looms, and it takes approximately two weeks to produce one. We love the uniqueness of our caftans and are impressed by the craftsmanship of our local weavers, whom we visited in Mitla, Oaxaca. By purchasing one of our caftans, you support the artisans in Oaxaca and help preserve a centuries-old tradition.
